Having trained in classical ballet for 12 years since the age of 6, Cerise developed a strong interest in movement and rehabilitation. Coupled with her desire for working in the healthcare industry, being a physiotherapist was a natural progression toward making a career out of her interests. Upon graduation from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2012, Cerise has worked in both the public and private sectors locally, as well as in a private clinic in Tasmania, Australia. For the past 6 years she has been able to integrate clinical pilates into the management of her clients with various musculoskeletal conditions, especially in the areas of back pain, pre and postnatal, and scoliosis. Cerise strongly believes in addressing the underlying cause of a client’s problems & symptoms rather than just providing symptom relief. She enjoys the process of getting to know each of her clients and because every person is unique, she recognises the importance of tailoring her management to suit their needs & goals for a successful outcome. In her spare time, Cerise enjoys sourcing out recipes for healthy cooking & baking; she also enjoys a good coffee once in awhile!
